SPRO - Japanese fishing tackle meets fashion #coyomistories

If you have read our blog pages before, you probably know about the SPRO collaboration is exclusively available at COYOMI Store online in Spring 2021. We’ve previously introduced the SPRO collection with NANGA, F/CE, KANEKO Optical and GCP individually in detail. These collaborators are all Japanese brands and so is SPRO - a Japanese fishing tackle company, a part of Gamakatsu group where its hook is very well known among anglers all over the world.

It is SPRO’s first attempt to expand its business outside a fishing tackle market. Since SPRO is known for high quality fishing tackles in the industry, the collection also commit to a premium quality and long-lasting items. CORDURA® material, a durable material is used in the production of the GCP x SPRO bag collection. 

CORDURA® material is a water-repellent nylon texture fabric, which is often seen in military and workwear where durability is absolutely required. The bags are perfect for work, school, travel, outdoor activities and much more. They are very lightweight and the GCP Brief Bag can fit a 13 inch laptop so the durable material can protect your laptop from damaging everywhere you carry them.  

The GCP Shoulder bag is also one of the 5 pieces collection by GCP x SPRO this Spring 2021. A design of a bag is inspired by a traditional angler shoulder bag. It is made from CORDURA® as well as the Brief Bag so durability is guaranteed. A multiple pockets in front gives you a lot of spaces you can keep your essentials like a key and a cardholder. If you will be allowed to go to music festivals in your country this summer and need a bag that can keep your arms free, we highly recommend this special angler inspired shoulder bag for you.  

If you want a design to be simple and minimum, the GCP Sling Pouch is a small shoulder bag for daily use. There is an outside zip pocket where you can keep and take out your essentials easily. A lightweight crossbody design bag lets you carry your items comfortably but keeps the items safe thanks to the CORDURA® material.
