NANGA x SPRO collaboration items are exclusively available at COYOMI

COYOMI store is finally live online and we are excited to announce that NANGA and SPRO have created the first collaboration items, which are exclusively available at COYOMI - the NANGA’s signature Aurora Down Jackets and Aurora Down Vests are collaborated with SPRO and they are super warm and lightweight. Who would have expected a Japanese sleeping bag company and a Japanese fishing tackle company to collaborate together like this?

If you have ever done fishing before, SPRO may sound familiar to you - SPRO is a global fishing tackle company, a part of the Gamakatsu group based in Japan and sells fishing products all over the world. They have more than six decades of history in the industry, therefore very well-known among anglers. This is the very first apparel collection by SPRO and NANGA is one of the first collaborators SPRO has teamed up.

NAGNA is originally a sleeping bag company in Japan and has been expanding its brand across climbing products such as down jackets and clothes. NANGA’s down is very soft and lightweight - this is because NANGA has been manufacturing feather products for a very long time and they are capable of producing high-quality domestic feathers along with Kawada Feather thanks to their knowledge and experience.

Kawada Feather has been producing feathers in Japan since 1891 and they originally specialized in producing a duvet. They use fresh soft water to wash feathers in order to remove dander and fat, and Kawada Feather is aiming to produce the cleanest feather you can find on the market. Feathers tend to be heavy and bulky though, Kawada’s feathers are soft and lightweight unlike normal feathers - and they are super warm and keep you warm all day long as if you are wrapped up by a duvet.

Materials wise, NANGA uses AURORA-TEX® - this is a waterproof nylon material so you can easily wipe off dirts on jackets and you don’t have to worry how to take care of it. You can learn how to wash NANGA’s down from an official website.

COYOMI store offers Aurora Down Jackets and Aurora Down Vests with two different colours (Black Moss Green / Indigo Blue). Both jackets are really warm and you don't feel any weight while wearing it. We have S. M, L and XL available for the NANGA x SPRO products - please keep in mind that NANGA’s size is relatively slim fit so we strongly recommend you to size up if you don’t like slim fit. Also, if you are female and love oversized jackets, don’t hesitate to size up. A size XL perfectly fits you comfy and seamlessly.
